Clara liked the idea of Roman column's above her new bathtub.  The tile she chose had a roman feel to it and she decorated her bathroom with grape vines and grapes.  We decided on colors, chose a pillar we liked and I started painting.  

We discussed the space between the tub and the door.  There was just too much of it and there really was not a lot of room to place furniture or decorative items without interfering with the door.  Clara and I decided to go with a potted plant on top of a matching pillar/column.  The pattern on the urn matched the pattern in Clara's black tile that finishes off the top of her bathtub.

It was a fun project and I enjoyed the challenge.
