Not all bathrooms are easy.  This bathroom is in an older home and was not created to fit all the modern conveniences in.  This home had tall ceilings and three cubbies...one for the toilet, one for the bathtub and at the opposite side, one for the sink.  There were three doors leading into this small narrow bathroom.  The narrowness of the bathroom, as well as the height, presented a problem of not being able to reach some areas of the cubbies so we decided to just be creative.  In the area of the toilet, there was a sewer pipe exposed and no way to cover it up.  Therefore, it was incorporated into the design and became a decorative accent piece.

This home was done in a tasteful shabby chic cottage style that we wanted to continue into the bathroom.  I believe we captured this style quite well.  There are quite a few pictures here, but due to the nooks and crannies that I painted in, I have made a pictorial trip around the room.  Hope this gives you some idea of what we did.
