Linear Embedding
Linear embedding is the art of combining color washes and manipulating those washes with an odorless, water soluble  chemical application in a manner that allows it to resemble pitted stone.  This linear embedding accentuates the recessed lighting areas of a large conference room that mellows the starkness of the sterile whiteness of the room.
