Helen's Dining Room Ceiling

These are the beginning point pictures.  Helen had a very hard time convincing me that this ceiling was painted Spruce Green.  I'll be darned...it was!

These are close-ups of the center medallion area with the lamp fixture hanging from the center.

Along two edges of the ceiling, I added a little surprise element by extending the vine out of the confines of the area being painted.

Here are the pictures of the finished product complete with the trim molding boards that accentuate the entire area.  The rest of the trim in the dining area, as well as the radiator is also painted a deep red to match and it succeeds in drawing the entire room together for a formal, yet comfortable area that entices you to use this dining room on a daily basis, not just for formal occasions and family get-togethers.  Thanks Helen...this was a fun project.
