This is my other cousin's Kitchen.  I made a trek to Michigan this summer (2003) with my two daughter's to visit my cousins'.  I "paid for our keep" by painting on their walls.  They think they were more grateful for what I did on their walls than I was for them allowing us a place to stay, complete with great Michigan hospitality.  They are sadly mistaken.  What I did was great fun, especially to see their face's when I was finished.  They are the one's who we put out and who went to all the work of entertaining and cooking and making sure we had an absolutely fantastic time!  Even of this meant putting the whole area into a blackout, from Quebec to Ohio!  They went ALL OUT for us!!  We missed Steely Dan (due to my cousins' "brain-fart", which was a hoot and par for her course!!) and a night out in "Greek Town" along with a night of gambling (due to a blackout on my birthday) because of unforeseen circumstances (that my cousins' are still blaming on me!), but I count my lucky stars that I have family as wonderful as these people!  This Kitchen was our third stop and my second kitchen.  The second kitchen was similar to the first Shoemaker's... but fit just as well in their lifestyle and decor.
