I adapted this
from a book of antique litho advertisement plates that a friend of mine loaned
me. I fell in love with the "Art Nuevo" style of the
photograph. I found a piece of plywood in my "pile of projects"
in the garage, copied the outline and asked my husband to cut out the outline
and the decorative holes. From there, I applied the basecoat, reapplied
the pattern and I was off to the races with it.

Once
I was finished with the initial piece, my husband screwed the plywood to the
wall and I added the finishing touches by painting wild daisies directly on the
wall, intertwining them in, around and through the plywood piece.
It sure
brightened up the corner by the piano.
